A collaboration for the black and white, 1945 film adaption of Oscar Wilde's novel; starring George Sanders, Hurd Hatfield, Donna Reed and Angela Lansbury.
I first saw this movie one day on TCM; it was on and I just got so intrigued watching it. 3 weeks later I started thinking about it (ironically someone posted the entire movie online so I got to see again^ ^). Anyway. . . I really liked it!!! Maybe someday I will actually take the time to read the book, or get the marvel comicbook or even watch the other dozen adaptions before and after this one.
You should definently read the book. I rented the movie a year ago and when it showed the altered portrait in full colour I ran screaming from the room! I don't usually get that scared during movies but Evan Albright's painting was just so haunting! I loved Angela in the movie, especially when she sung "Goodbye Little Yellow Bird."

Thank you so much^ ^ I got pretty freaked out when I first saw the painting too . . . kind of came unexpected. It took me weeks to finally be able to look it dead in the eye! I also liked Angela, she has such a wonderful voice^ ^

The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
Hello there! This news article is the result of a thumb share thread I posted few days ago on the dA forum along with pictures from my favorites. I hope you enjoy them.
